As the district’s Emmy Award nominated television station, WPDS-TV14 is the FCC licensed educational learning channel for the Pinellas County School district. The mission of the television station is to highlight excellence in the classroom, showcase innovative practices to raise student achievement and provide the community with quality educational television programming supporting teaching and learning at all levels throughout Pinellas County.

The new edition of Science Rocks Pinellas shows us the parternship between USFSP and Fairmont Park Elementary with students learning about STEM. WPDS-TV14 is proud to announce Science Rocks has won the prestigious 2014 TELLY and Communicator awards for excellence in educational television programming. Science Rocks is a new concept science television program designed to showcase Pinellas County School’s STEM programs and the students, teachers and educational trends in the science community.
