WPDS-Ch. 14 produces a variety of programs highlighting the talents of Pinellas County Schools teachers, support staff and volunteers.
The Outstanding Educator program is an annual celebration of education in Pinellas County. The evening of entertainment and inspiration is highlighted by the announcement of the outstanding teacher of the year.
Ten of the best Pinellas County Schools’ volunteers are featured in the Outstanding School Volunteer program - the youth, adult and senior outstanding volunteer from each of the school system's three regions plus one from workforce education.
The Support Employee of the Year recognition program is designed to recognize non-instructional school employees. Over the last five years, Pinellas County Schools has had two state winners and two state finalists.
