The Pinellas County Schools Arts Channel is dedicated to showcasing the artistic talents of Pinellas County students.
Locally produced programming dominates the broadcast schedule, highlighted by classic performances of the award winning Student Measures, now in its 13th season. The All County Musical Festival, Walker’s Rising Stars, Scholastic Arts awards and other student based programs are feature throughout the daily broadcast schedule. In addition to showcasing Pinellas County students, the arts channel also provides viewers with art education programs and performances from around the world as part of the Classic Arts Showcase. Sunday is movie day on the Pinellas County Schools Arts Channel with favorite classic movies all day long.
Starting this fall, an updated performing and visual arts calendar will appear on the channel just before the start of every hour to alert viewers to upcoming performances and shows at schools around the district. The Pinellas County Schools Arts Channel can be seen on digital broadcast channel 14.2 or on the Knology cable system, Channel 147. All WPDS-TV14 channels can be seen through a live web stream via the station’s website at www.wpds.tv.
